Hey lovely Reader
There's a phrase 'May you live in interesting times' that many attribute to an ancient Chinese curse. I've always liked how it turns the idea of what's 'interesting' on its head, though a brief Google search said it was probably only invented sometime in the 1930's...
Either way, this year has been interesting for me. And we're only half-way through.
It began filled with the energy of the Fire Horse - full of creative force - and it has held weeks of sorrow and enforced pause with a loved one in hospital, plus weeks of pure joy as our son returned from New Zealand for an all-too-brief-but-utterly-perfect visit.
And I'm deeply mindful of all the things you, and everyone here, will have faced through that time too. Stuff of joy, stuff of sorrow, stuff of life.
Through it all, everything around us continues.
Working out how to keep going; how to be with ALL that we are experiencing can be our greatest inner Work.
That's what we'll be exploring together in Season Two of The Field.
I love this space, with my whole heart. I think you might too.
During Season One I witnessed how The Field held me - and how it held everyone there. Without drama or pressure or performance.
The gate to Season Two is now open - beginning in September. If you're curious to see what it's all about, I would love for you to join us.
With love
