A Gift for You: Journaling Prompts to Reflect and Renew
Published about 2 months ago • 1 min read
Hey lovely Reader
How are you doing? How is today? How is this moment?
Has the practice of Wintering reached into you? Or are you in a place of gearing up for any gatherings to come? Or are you, in that oh, so human way, finding yourself oscillating between the two?
Whatever is rising for you on this day, I hope you are warm and well.
I realise I often begin these missives by diving in to what's uppermost in my mind and today it felt important to take a moment to reflect; to check-in with you, with each other.
Which leads rather beautifully (though unplanned) into the topic for today's reflection.
A little gift from me to you.
It's a collection of Flow Journaling prompts that you may find useful as you reflect on your year - and look ahead into 2025.
This is a slightly different approach from the prompts I share in my journaling book 'In the Flow', but they follow the same practice of being founded in self-compassion, and can be used again and again, for any time you're moving from This to That.
The Tipping Point
Flow Journaling prompts for moving from This… to That
Could be used in one go or over 5 days
What was…
What I’ve learned…
What is…
What I now see…
What I am bringing into being….
Little extra tip... to help deepen your stance of self-compassion, play with adding the words 'with love' to the end of each prompt.
I'm sharing this now (even though it might be more obviously placed at the end of December) as I'm about to head into some downtime. I'm taking a few weeks rest, resurfacing refreshed in the middle of January.
There may be another episode of the podcast after this... or maybe not. Let's see what happens there. So, I'll take this opportunity to wish you all the very best of everything as we begin to close this year and welcome in the next.
May you be safe, healthy, happy and may your life be filled with ease.
