Embracing Wintering: A Journey of Self-Reflection and Creating a Heart's Sanctuary (S15E8)

Hey lovely Reader

This is one of 'those' episodes. A stream of consciousness, allowing thoughts and words to flow.

I let my mind wander as I sat waiting patiently for my computer to sleepily stir into life. And my thoughts turned to the slowness that can be such a wonderful aspect of Wintering. It felt like a wonderful place to begin...

Embracing Wintering: A Journey of Self-Reflection and Creating a Heart's Sanctuary (S15E8)

My own experience of Wintering through the past few months (I don't think it's limited to this time of year), and listening to the experiences of others, has inspired this invitation to explore the natural rhythm of energy that guides us between vibrant creativity and peaceful quietude.

Reflections include:

  • What may guide or inform this experience of Wintering; the natural seasons, the cycles of the moon or our own inner rhythms
  • The profound wisdom in accepting silence and stillness as part of our internal landscape
  • A journal entry, written several years ago, which captures part of this essence of Wintering
  • How the geography of a place can support how we turn toward this practice of Wintering
  • The benefit we can all realise from stepping into our own inner realm

Wintering can be a path to finding our own personal refuge of rest and rejuvenation.

A loving environment that holds and releases us, always ready to welcome us back into its embrace.

Whatever season you are experiencing today, may you be well, safe and happy. May all your seasons be filled with ease.

With love
