Hey lovely Reader
As I was gathering the threads of thought and inspiration that led to this weekend's message, I came across this quote:
It is indeed a radical act of love just to sit down and be quiet a time by yourself. Jon Kabat-Zinn
I love its simplicity - and its radical compassion, as Tara Brach might say.
It speaks so strongly to something I've been feeling for a while. Maybe it speaks to something in you too?
There is so much calling for our attention. So much that feels hard to hold - at times hard to handle. And I think many of us have a sense that to meet what’s unfolding in our lives and in the world, we need something else too...
Not tips or hacks. Not another thing for the to-do list.
Rather, I sense we need a simpler space. A space to quieten our minds, soften our hearts, and reconnect with the inner wisdom we all hold.
So, that's what I’ve been creating.
A piece of quiet
It's a weekly pause. A new private podcast with a calming, guided relaxation practice and an optional Flow Journaling prompt - offering a comforting rhythm of rest and reflection, wherever you are.
5 minutes to settle, 5 minutes to write.
I'm so delighted to be finally sharing this with you. If it sounds like something your heart is also asking for, I’d love to welcome you in. There are details below, or you can find out more here.
I created A piece of quiet for our small and perfectly formed community. We’re going gently, and I can’t wait to welcome you there.
With love
PS: I'm also making some changes to the emails you receive from me. From now on, I’ll be sharing everything in one gentle Sunday note - courses, events, new offerings - rather than sending separate messages about each one. Hopefully a simpler way to keep in touch, and a little piece of quiet for your inbox.
